YOU MAKE MY HEART FLUTTER

Hello my sweet friends. I hope today finds you happy, healthy, and ready to craft!

I recently purchased a new set of dies from Paper Smooches and had a chance to use one for this card:

I used the “squiggly” die to cut my white card stock. I then used a strip of red card behind it and attached the entire panel on black card stock.  The hearts are from a punch and the sentiment is one I made on my computer. Very quick and easy card!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my card!

LOVE YOU

Second post today. Please scroll down to see first one. And, note to Chrissie, I promise this is my last card using the LIM sketch this week. But, I do love how this one turned out.

I used some double-sided K&Co cardstock for this card base and lined the inside. The panel is a metallic gold paper that I embossed with an embossing border. The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping. To attached the small bow, I cut two slits and ran the seam binding through them, then tied it.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my card!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Monday sweet friends. Another rainy day here in North Carolina and that is depressing! After a rainy, grey, dreary winter, I am so ready for some sunshine. *Sigh* OK, maybe that means I’ll get some crafting time later today.

CAS-ual Fridays challenge is to make birthday cards in honor of Michele’s birthday. I am still having fun with the Less is More sketch this week so I used their sketch for this card.

I got a new set of Paper Smooches dies and used one of them to make the background. I then dry embossed the background with a basket weave pattern. The sentiment label was made using the same die and I warped the sentiment on the block to match the shape of the tag. The flowers are from Memory Box and are popped up with foam.  So, Happy Birthday Michele!!!! I hope it was a great day.

Thanks for stopping by.

THANKS

Hi sweet crafty friends. Today has been chilly and rainy so I decided to make a few cards.  They all use the Less Is More sketch for this week and I wanted to work on CAS designing, so they are all CAS.  I will post them separately, and this is the first one:

Last week at LIM, Chrissie used a technique that I really wanted to try. Her post is located here. The only letter dies I have are these small Paper Smooches ones and I think the results would have been better with larger letters.

Here is the close up of the sentiment. The stamps are from CAS-ual Fridays stamps. I dry embossed the base to add more texture.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check back for the other two cards!

I know you will want to see all the gorgeous creations from our DT so be sure to check out their cards at Inspirational to be inspired! Now here is my DT card.

Once again I am using stamps from our AWESOME sponsor, Rubber Stamp Tapestry.  I used the Autumn Blossoms set to design the focal panel and a block stamp for the sentiment.  I cut the panel out with a SB Romantic Rectangle and mounted it on blue cardstock. I added a butterfly and Liquid Pearls to finish it. The base panel is DSP from the London Market paper pad. I stamped with a border punch and added two green pearls to finish it.
