HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

One more card to share today! This one is for the Less is More challenge and this week is:

Glamour and Glitz By that we mean something to include glitter or bling, something that twinkles, sparkles or shines.

And here is my card:

I just got my Little Lantern stamps from Waltzingmouse Stamps and just could not wait to ink them up – the sentiment is from Verve. To add Glamour and Glitz, I sprayed the image with Gold Glimmer Mist. I tried to show the pretty glow it made but I could not get it to show in the picture. I added Diamond Stickles around the flame to make it shine and used red crystals for the holly berries.

MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH VERVE

Rushing to get my week four for the November Viva la Verve challenge. Seems like everything is so rushed this week.

I have been way behind on sharing my cards, but maybe I will be able to catch up this weekend…that is, after I put up the Christmas tree! This should be the last card for the Viva la Verve November challenge. At least I hope so! I really am trying to do all of the sketches now. I used a super fine silver embossing powder for the ornament and DI to make the ornament. I have embossed it before with regular embossing powder and it just isn’t as pretty as when you use the super fine stuff!

JINGLE ALL THE WAY!

OH my! I almost missed getting my Inspired by Stamping card posted this week! Here it is:

This week the IBSIC is a sketch, which I followed for this card. The image and sentiment are from Doodle Pantry’s Caroling Friends. I used the pre-colored image and Diamond Stickles to make the snow glitter.  The metallic gold panel is embossed with Darice’s Snowflake embossing folder.

LET IT SNOW…..PLEASE!

It would be so much fun to see snow this year. I have only seen snow while my Christmas decorations were up one time! I just loved seeing how pretty that scene was. I know y’all up north hate the snow, but we don’t get it often and when we do get it, it doesn’t last long, so PLEASE LET IT SNOW! 

I double embossed the white panel and outlined the rectangle area with gold pen. I then used Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s Snowy Wonderland set and their Merry Christmas stamp to create the focal point. Some Smooches and a little bow complete this simple card.

MOJO CHRISTMAS

Finally getting my Mojo Monday card posted for you to see. Sort of busy this week!!

When I first saw this sketch I wasn’t sure what I was going to do, but I have this new paper pack and decided it would be perfect for this sketch. I also had a flower that I had quilled and thought it would work as a focal point. Keeping it simple seemed to be the best way to show off the flower too, so there it is!

I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful and, if you are brave enough to go out shopping today, may you be blessed with great deals!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS QUILLED FLOWER

Happy Thanksgiving! What better way to enjoy the day than watching the Macy’s Christmas Parade and sharing Christmas cards? Oh, well of course there will be family and food, but that will come later. For now, I want to share my card with you!

For this card, I quilled a Royal Flower and attached it with a metal brad.  The white panel is embossed and border punched to allow more of the red background to shine through. I just love the simplicity of this card.
